Antique Victorian gilt fob pendant, featuring a slice of white agate. These stones were commonly used in fobs and often had family crests carved into them, they would have been worn on a gentleman's watch chain mostly for decoration. The smooth agate stone is set into a star shaped setting, stone has a milky blue colour and is cold to the touch.

MEASUREMENTS

The fob measures 2.3cm / 0.9" in height, 1.2cm / 0.5" in width. The fob hangs from a new 9ct, 18" yellow gold chain.

CONDITION

The fob is in good antique condition, the gilt is slightly worn although this is not obvious and does not detract from the piece.
